Alex and I met in the Spring of 2017. He was working in Columbus State University's police department, and I was still in their education department. I walked into the police building one day for a background check, and saw Alex for the first time, working at the front desk. I got my background check, and that Sunday Alex was in the sanctuary at my church, Evangel Church. And that Tuesday he was at my small group.

Eventually, we went on a few dates, but the pandemic hit and the long distance wasn't kind. Things were meant to be because he applied with the Columbus Police Department and got a job. When he did move back to Columbus, we took things slow.

We became official July 24, 2022 at a Braves game and have made so many memories since.

Alex proposed May 2 of last year!

We can not wait to celebrate with all of our loved ones on March 2, 2024.
